Have you noticed how much a difference it makes with that one POP piece in your wardrobe?
Do you own a POP piece?
Ever come across something that you absolutely loved,
but thought it might just be a little too out there?
Take it from these Milan Masters as proof that ANY crazy/zany piece can be
dressed up, dressed down, or placed with the remainder of your outfit to create the upmost perfect fashionista outfit!
It's always a 50/50 controversy when you hear people say "just be yourself" or "drive on the edge just a bit" when it comes to styling yourself. I think there can be a good even balance when comparing the two, but someone needs to give you a little push and encouragement to jump out of the "social norm GO-TO outfit" (aka jeans and top). It's so safe...so everywhere! Time to take the high road--get a sassy pair of heels, a colored clutch, jewel it up with some wild jewelry, wear a skirt for a change, or find that one piece that may set you apart from these everyday robot peps who all dress alike in some way or another (no offense). Listen, i understand, if you're under the category of the type who has little desire to dress different, maybe focus on experimenting exclusively with the accessories of your outfit that may provide your everyday wear some pizzazBut, Caution! To those who are in fact feeling inspired, be careful with how your pair, don't just simply substitute! I advise you to observe and be inspired by the photos captured above to see just how they went about making these outfits flawlessly work (making it seem as though they just casually threw these pieces together). The main point here is that life is too short to play so safe all the time!
Party On!
Social norms lead to living in this itty bitty wardrobe safety net. Get your scissors out ladies and free yourself to embrace the latest fashion trends, owning them and loving them.
